Welcome to the official website of the Betfred Ladies Poker Tour 2008.
This is the second year of the UK's only all-female poker tour where the 2008 Champion will win a £20,000 sponsorship package for 2009 from Betfred.
Lynne Beaumont is celebrating a fantastic double success after becoming the Betfred Ladies Poker Tour champion for the second consecutive year. In a cliffhanging Grand Final of the tour at London's Western Club, Lynne again secured a £20,000 sponsorship package from Betfred as she reinforced her status as Britain's top lady poker player. At the end of a tense game that spanned nearly 10 hours, a straight thanks to a jack on the river clinched victory in the heads-up for Whitley Bay-based Lynne over Christine Evans.

Tournament Details
The buy-in
£100 + £10 for all events.
Added prize money
Betfred are adding £1,000 to each regional event and £5,000 to the final. The Betfred Ladies Poker Tour champion will also receive a £20,000 sponsorship package from Betfred for 2009.
Qualifying for the final
Each regional event winner will automatically win a seat in the final.
An additional two seats can be won for the live final via the leaderboard and the betfred online playoff.
Points Structure & Leaderboard
Each player will receive 5 points for entering, additional points are awarded as follows:

The winner of the leaderboard will win a seat in to the BLPT Grand Final on the 22nd of November

Along with positions 2nd-10th in the leaderboard any player that plays in 7 or more live BLPT events will qualify for an online playoff which will reward one seat to the BLPT grand final on the 22nd of November
- Seats for the BLPT are not transferable and there is no cash alternative. Should a player win two seats then they will forfeit one of them.
- If a player has already won a seat and goes on to win another qualifying event the seat will be rewarded to the 2nd place finisher.
